One photographer that really inspires me has recently won awards for his work from Fuji Film. I wanted to give a huge congratulations to Jaco from J & D Photography for his well deserved awards. You inspire me constantly. Take care.
As a part of my overall business practices, I make sure to donate to great causes, such as Windsor/Essex’s Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I visited their main site here in Windsor yesterday to make a $200.00 donation. I know that the money is going to help some kids have a lot more enjoyable summer! Take care all.
Here’s a few shots I took in the past with a new twist to them. Graphic Designer Andy Armstrong has created a great set of photoshop actions with his design|house software. Among this set of actions, textures, and brushes lies his famous design|house DR action. This action and a series of burning and dodging was applied to the following photos.
Please leave me your thoughts, as this is still in the experimental phase. Thanks in advance!
Us photogs have a cool expression we call “trash the dress.” This simply involves getting in a dress (usually wedding) and then just trashing it in a creative manner.
Here’s a great video of a photographer in South Africa who really did a good job at this, and got some amazing results. Thanks for looking!
Katchlight Photography is a perfect example of how one can take a photograph and totally develop it into something bigger than reality. This is demonstrated through their work with the Cherry Dollface 2009 calendar. Check out the link below to see how this artist takes photos to the extreme!
Lauren and I have worked together off and on for over a year now. She’s a great model, and up for anything! Shooting with her is more like relaxing with a friend than actually working. For more info on Lauren, check out her Model Mayhem Profile: MM#358001
Had a great time at this shoot. Thanks again Lauren!
I found this on You Tube (my second home!) and thought I’d share it with everyone. It’s a simple technique that even the pros use to get rid of objects in photographs. Please leave your comments and let me know what you think of this tutorial. Take care.
