A few weeks back I got the opportunity to shoot with a great musician. 

I’ve known Tyler for about two years now, and we talked one evening about doing a quick shoot before he went back to Berklee College of Music.  We set up for the shoot at Parkwood Gospel Temple, and although we didn’t get to use all the cool lighting that was available there, we still got some great photos using what we had.

Hello all. A while ago I worked with a great musician, Steve Hereford. He has his own music project set up, and pays tribute to a lot of the classic musicians, such as Jimmy Hendrix, Jimmy Paige, and others.

We rented out the Korda Zone theater to simulate the feel of a real stage show for this shoot, and had Steve playing guitar and singing along to his tunes the whole time.

Hi all. Here’s a quick image that I took from a duet in LaSalle, called the Back 2 Back band. They specialize in providing music for any event, and have a wide variety of songs in their performances.

Roger, Bernadette, and I had a great time at this shoot (my most memorable characteristic of Rog was trying to get him to smile, but Bernie helped me out with that!) We toyed around with their instruments a bit to get some creative shots, and then also tied them together back to back for fun!

Just a quick update, 1 day late. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get any shots in at the Roxy on Thursday because the show started late and I had an early appointment on Friday. However, I’ll have some more pics coming soon!

Hi everyone. Just a quick update to tell you that I’m going to be at the Roxy in Windsor tonight to take some live concert photographs. Should be a fun gig, and I’m looking forward to seeing a few familiar faces there. I’ll have the photos posted in a few days time. Till then, hang tight!

I was out this past Friday night at Scores in Windsor, and got some great shots of a band called “Assassinate the Following.” I finished putting the photos up on my myspace account if you’re interested in seeing them. Hey everyone. Here’s a few shots from last week’s concert @ Venues in Windsor. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a lot of energy for this show, and I was dragging my feet the whole time! I’ve learned my lesson though, and will no longer consume massive ammounts of fast food before a concert shoot! It worked once before, but I think there were other factors in play for that concert.

Anyhoo, without further delay, here’s some shots from that night. There’s another concert going on tomorrow night at a different location. I’ll be there, with lots of energy (I hope!) and will be covering the events at that show. Looking forward to tomorrow night!
