Back in 2008, I started working with a great actor here in Windsor.  Rob Tymec and I have done a number of projects together since them, and each one has been better than the last.

This time around, Rob has once again brought laughter and chills to his audience through his famous Ghost Tours in Amherstburg and along Sandwich Street in Windsor.  Crowds of people would gather every Sunday evening in the fall to take the tour and hear about the ghost stories that are in their local environment.

Hello all. This weekend I had the great opportunity to display some of my photos at Parkwood Gospel Temple as their production of “The First Noel” was going on. I had two 16×24″ in their lobby, and received a lot of great comments about them!

Here’s the two photos that were there, plus some more that will be featured in the near future. Parkwood has been generous enough to give me a public display from January 2011 – February 2011 in their main lobby, and I’ll have many other prints out by then as well!

As some of you may know, I’m just as big of an enthusiast about martial arts as I am about photography. Recently I had the opportunity to attend a Tamashigiri (sword cutting practice) with a group of Iaido practicioners.

There was many great photos taken this day, including cutting of two liter bottles filled with water, cutting of wara (rolled straw mats), and I got a really nice group photo at the end.

Hello everyone. As many of you might already know, I’m a great student of the martial arts. I recently had the opportunity to go to a seminar/tournament in Kingston Ontario called Kingston Kicks and train with some of the best martial artists in Ontario.

Hi everyone. Just a few weekends ago I was out photographing at a beach and I wanted to try out a neat thing I learned called HDR (high dynamic range). To sum up what this is, it will give you good exposures between the highlights, midtones, and shadows in an image when you take your photograph.

Just yesterday, I was able to help out a local charity called Harmony in Action. They are dedicated to enriching the lives of those living with developmental and/or physical challenges.

I had a busy day this mother’s day, full of meetings, a bit of work, and many other things. Although it was a really hectic day, I couldn’t overlook that my Mother and I had an important event that evening – to get some dinner and talk for a bit.

Throughout my days, I don’t get a lot of time to really sit down and talk with this amazing woman who’s taken care of me for over 28 years now. So this week’s photo is dedicated to you Mom, for all the hard work you’ve done to put me on the right path all these years. Thank you!

This week I went into Malden Park in my city to get some photos of the sunset. The past few days, we’ve been getting some great sunsets, and I didn’t want to let this week go by without taking a few photos of such a beautiful natural scene. Until next time, take care!
