Photo Retouching for a great ZZTop Fan!

A while ago I got a unique inquiry via e-mail from a great person. Dave has been a huge ZZtop fan since the 1970′s, and when he heard that they were coming to Windsor’s WFCU center, he bought backstage passes for himself and his wife, which included an opportunity to meet the band and have...

Fitness Model Phil Atlas

This past week I had the opportunity to photograph fitness model/pro wrestler Phil Atlas. We had an awesome shoot, and I wanted to share one image that not only has a great side of Phil, but also has great post processing, which I’ll explain about. The process for developing this photo was first given to...

Hey there, nice picture. I know it is kind of stupid to ask the secrets of a craftsman, and the whole intention of using photo editing software is to hide some glitches that might reduce the quality of the work and ofcourse for enhancing purposes. It would be wonderful if you could point me to good sites for research on photo editing.

Andy Armstrong’s design|house software

For all of you who might not have heard, I recently got my hands on the design|house software created by graphic designer Andy Armstrong. design|house by Andy Armstrong is a collection of Photoshop actions, brushes, custom shapes, and styles, as well as hi-res backgrounds, wallpapers, textures, digital mats, and photo objects. He’s also recently released...

A quick totorial on how to remove objects

I found this on You Tube (my second home!) and thought I’d share it with everyone. It’s a simple technique that even the pros use to get rid of objects in photographs. Please leave your comments and let me know what you think of this tutorial. Take care. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcJbN8CA49c
