This past Sunday I had the pleasure of taking some photographs at the annual Easter Seals Society telethon fund raiser. The Easter Seals put this on once per year, and are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children, youth, and young adults with physical disabilities achieve their full individual potential through financial assistance, summer camp, the Recreational Choices Funding Program, research, advocacy, and public education.
This was hosted by TV Cogoco at their location on Dougall Avenue, and was hosted by Dave from Dave and Chuck the Freak on Windsor’s very own 89X radio station.

Dave and the Easter Seals Ambassador Aaron.
Throughout this live broadcast, people were encouraged to call in and donate to the Easter Seals Society, and many businesses stepped forward to make a pledge to this great cause. Among these donors from Windsor/Essex County were:
- Windsor Family Credit Union
- Green Shield Canada
- Cogeco Business Solutions
- CAW
- Toy Box ECE Center
- Sobey’s in Tecumseh Mall and Lakeshore
- Royal Canadian Legion (Zone A1)
- The Caboto Club
- Caesar’s Windsor
All in all, the day was very eventful and there was a lot of money raised for the Easter Seals Society to continue supporting those with physical disabilities. Thanks to John and Suzanne from Easter Seals for letting me capture the great events of this day, and for putting on such a great fund raiser!
