Engagement Photography

About Engagements…

With every wedding package at my studio, you’ll be given a free engagement photo shoot.  This will give us some time to shoot together, take some great photos, and create memories for the years to come.  The photos from this shoot make great gifts to family, plus help get all your guests excited about the wedding day!

All my engagement photo shoots are done at a location of your choosing.  We’ll talk about this before setting a date, and I’m always open to shooting in a new and fun location.  I’ve done a lot of great engagement shoots at some cool locations in Essex county, such as the Navy Yard in Amherstburg, a beach at Point Pelee, Mackenzie Hall in Olde Sandwich Towne, and even downtown Windsor.

This shoot only takes about an hour, and everyone always loves getting these photos taken!

Engagement Photography products from JZ·P

There are a number of products available for your wedding involving your engagement photo shoot. Just to give you an idea, you can have them on your wedding invitations, guest cards for the reception, or even have a custom guest book designed with your photos in them.

One of the most popular things couples are getting these days is an engagement photography guest book.  This is a guest book (the one that everyone signs when they go to your reception) with your engagement photos creatively placed within the pages.  This leaves room for your guests to make a cute comment and sign your guest book, all while showing off your engagement photos.

What you can do with your Engagement Photos?

Outside of showing them to family and friends, here’s a quick list of all the cool things you can do with your engagement photos….

  • Make a news paper announcement – This is still pretty cool, and your parents will remember when it was such a great thing to put your photo in the newspaper!
  • Post your photos on Facebook – it’s always cool when I see the bride-to-be post all her engagement photos on Facebook!  All her friends leave such nice comments.
  • Make a display for your reception – a few couples have decorated their greeting table at the reception with a number of photos from their engagement. This can be done simply with frames you can buy at any local retailer.
  • Get a wall portrait – You’ll have the option to get these photos printed at my studio, so that you can decorate your home with these fond memories.
  • Give them as gifts to family – Mom and Dad will never turn away great photos of their children!  Why not share some photos with them as a way of saying “Thank You” for all the hard work they’ve done over the years.
