About James Zedd

Hi, I'm James Zedd, a photographer based out of Windsor, Ontario.  I specialize in wedding photography, musician and band photography, event photography, concert photography, and even on-site photo and printing.

I'm mainly a photographer, but I also have a background in building websites, producing audio, and I've even designed a few advertisements for theater companies and other businesses.

Event Photography is……?

I’ve been asked a lot of times about what exactly event photography is – the truth is that the definition of this varies from person to person. From my experience in this field, here’s my best shot at giving my own definition of event photography: a live event being documented photographically.

Through my vision, I’ve been able to provide this kind of services to many people, charities, and corporations. The photographs taken have served them in providing memories of their event, having photos for their monthly newsletters, and also have been used in some occasions as a fund raiser. To give you an idea of what I’ve done with event photography in the past, here’s a small list of some of the events I’ve been able to document in the past:

What’s involved in this?

Depending on the nature of your event, it varies. I’ve shown up to a few gigs with nothing but my camera, but other times I’ve had a full studio set up with me, plus tables and computers for on-site photo printing (for more information on ON-SITE printing, please scroll down).

Through my experience, I’ve come to know that every event is different. In order to accomodate my clients, I have a consultation with them either by phone or in person so that we can discuss the specifics of the event, and also see what I’m going to need in order to meet their vision. From this consultation, I can give you a quote on the services, discuss any specifics you might require for your event, and also schedule any further meetings with your corporation, lighting crew, or family.

ON-SITE Photography and Printing

One of the great things I’ve been able to do at events in the past is offer on-site photography and printing. In a nutshell, this consists of me and my ON-SITE team coming to your event, setting up a designated area for photographs with studio lighting and backdrops, taking photos of your guests and events, and printing them all within a few minutes.

Also, as a bonus to the event coordinators, you can have the opportunity to get a donation back from my studio from the profits we make. In the past, I’ve been able to help out charities that need fundraising through my event photography, and have been able to not only provide great photos to attendees of the event, but also give back to the communities that have helped me get ahead.
